Suitable for adults and children
The Philips FRx AED is equipped with pre-connected electrodes for adults. For children under 8 years of age or weighing less than 25 kg, it is possible to quickly and easily adjust the AED thanks to the special baby/child key. In the special child mode, the spoken instructions are adjusted for applying the electrodes and the intensity of the shock is reduced.

The Philips FRx AED performs extensive self-tests every day. This automatically checks whether the electrodes, battery and mechanics of the AED are still functioning properly. If something unexpectedly does not work properly, the AED will indicate this by giving off a warning signal.
