Networking, talking and informing: that’s pretty much the short summary of our visits to the Expomedics Medical Job fairs in Madrid and Barcelona. Could you not attend? Then we would like to share some highlights below!
We start at the beginning: what exactly is the Expomedics Medical Job Fair? Expomedics supports healthcare professionals across Europe in developing their careers and providing recruitment support. Together with more than 300 partners, Expomedics organizes job fairs to connect people.
Since we at Blink specialize in recruiting Spanish healthcare professionals for the Dutch market, we couldn’t miss these events! Therefore, we headed to the fair in Madrid on September 30th and to the fair in Barcelona on October 1st.
We find it important to be able to put potential candidates in contact with different people and therefore headed to the fair with a team consisting of:
- our managing director Roel
- our employees Jacquelien and Marrit
- our newest nurse Eva – who was also able to provide information about the Dutch course she is following in Javea
It was very interesting to talk to (hopefully) future Blinkers and inform them about the personnel shortage within the Dutch healthcare sector. As a resident of Spain you obviously don’t get this news about Dutch healthcare, but as a healthcare professional you can make yourself extra useful by working here. You can literally be the savior for the quality and accessibility of our healthcare.
We also felt it was important to tell visitors not only how they can help the Netherlands, but also how we can help them. We talked about the financial benefits, the support that we offer as a specialized recruitment agency, our coaching, language training and much more!
